Abundant Life Ministries Orientation

Abundant life

Life Abundant strives to break the cycle of repeated imprisonment by leading inmates, ex-offenders and their families to Jesus Christ. Through God's love and grace inmates overcome their addictions or other problems that were the cause of their repeated incarceration. The goal of LAM is to assist ex-offenders and their families in finding freedom from the bondage of their pasts, building a foundation on the hope of the gospel, and nurturing reconciliation with God and others. Together, Riverstone Church and LAM seek to advance the gospel by producing faithful disciples of Jesus Christ and fruitful members of society.

Opportunities to serve include:

• In-prison Bible study.

• In-prison Chapel Service (i.e. church).

• In-prison 1-on-1 Mentoring.

• Aftercare 1-on-1 Mentoring.

• Mail correspondence.

• Volunteer opportunities at the office.

• Referrals: counseling, housing, employment, legal aid, etc.

• Purchasing Christian and holistic resources for inmates and ex-offenders.

• Coordinating various clothing drives

You do not need to choose a ministry now. There will be a few meetings first.

Voluntees must be age 18 or older. Please sign up below and also encourage your small groups to contribute together in one of these ways! We will contact you after your sign up and please mark your calendars for a LAM Orientation/Informational Meeting led by the Executive Director, Jonathan Lewis on Sunday, October 22, at 11:00 am in classroom 241 at Riverstone Church.

Thank you for your investment in advancing the gospel throughout the County!
